Long time, but here we go

Well, Finding time at the moment to blog anything (not that a great deal is happening) is difficult, but the weather is appalling, Connor is quiet, and we've actually done something interesting today.

But, first a catchup. We've been pretty busy around the farm (well the house), the gardens around the back of the house are all destroyed, and awaiting spring for me dig in some drainage and plant new lawns, but until then we have a real mess for a back yard.

Steph had another catchup with the doctor last week, and everything is fine.

The goats, with their worm problems, seemed to have settled down, and we seem to be keeping on top of it, thankfully, but some days, I still think a house cow might be easier and ultimately more productive for the space we have.

I've finally finished my "Game Camera" so I hope to put it out in a paddock next weekend, and then hopefully the week later retrieve it, fingers crossed.

Now on to today, and some photos. I was going through the freezer the other day and found a bag of sausage cuts that I had put aside (4kg of hare, and about the same in goat fat and offcuts). I already had a heap of sausage skins the fridge, so I got them out, and we spent the day making sausages, we've done three batches, BBQ (made with semolina), Rosemary (with bread), and orange, we got 112 sausages all up (but it did take 5 hours!)

Here's some photos of Connor helping
