Profile of my walk yesterday

Well, I might write the rest up later, but whilst I remember, this is the profile of my hunt yesterday, I turned the GPS on at lunchtime, so everything from 400m down should be of the left too as an ascent!!

Something for anyone who would come walking with me, if I suggest "Lets see whats over the top of that ridge", tell me where to get off, guess where the climb was (at least we got to higher than the summit on the rimutaka hill road!

Connor decided the bed was boring

Some days are just so productive.

Well, it's just 10:30, and I've already took sawn the top off a 200L drum for a rubbish bin, fixed a permenant trickle charger to the tractor (yay no more flat batteries),  mown the lawns, vaccummed the house etc, fixed one of our sockets that was almost falling out, oh and 2 more coats of paint on a few plough parts.  I wonder what we'll get up to for the rest of the day.

Busy Morning

Well, with the tractor finally going, I decided to move the bonfire, we started at 8am, and by 12:30, we had finished. The back section is starting to take shape finally, here are some photos:

She's alive

After several months of the tractor not going, this afternoon during Connor's snooze, I finally got her going, it was a combination of a bad battery, loose condensor cable, dirty fuel and dirty carb (oh and I also stuffed the radiator drain tap when I tried to fix it, so that needed repairing too)
So now onto the plough with full steam, so we might be able to resow the paddocks this spring
